Character Design Contest 2007

Deadline: 31 December 2007
RULES: Participants of this contest are to submit a character design for my present manga "Contradiction" for the previous Darkness and Light presidents. The winners will receive each a coloured image from me with characters of their choice.

All the entries are so good that I had such a hard time deciding on the winner >.<... I have wanted to change my mind when I looked at a different entry and messed up everything agai and again...

But anyways, CONGRATULATIONS to the following two final winners! Your characters will appear inside the Contradiction chapter (about chapter 10+ish) with your name credited on the first page they appear. If you want an extra art work from me, please let me know =)

Ki's Comments: It is really hard to choose the winner of the Light Department because there are some similar entries. If you have ever read the written version (and a small hint in the contest image I first posted), Jun has a kind face and a generous personality, and I think CHerryRIce's entry clearly illustrates this. The brown hair and brownish golden eyes also stands out for me. I think the colour suits the strongest person in the Light Department =D

Ki's Comments: My first thought when I saw this entry was "He looks so cute XD" and I think the red & uneven hair makes him stands out in school. His untidy way of wearing his school uniform makes him looks like a flirt =P I really love this design XD
